I've been writing and reporting since 2013, specializing in environmental and investigative work. An abridged list of publications that have published me include: The Guardian, High Country News, Grist, Mother Jones, Floodlight, NPR, and the Audubon magazine. I've also worked as a contract investigator for the Project on Government Oversight and have had work in numerous local/regional outlets in New Mexico and Minnesota, where I was a reporter/producer at Minnesota Public Radio for several years.
